Frank R. Paul

In a career spanning over half a century, the pioneering Science Fiction illustrator Frank R. Paul (1884-1963) created, almost single-handedly, the visual vocabulary of the genre - from aliens to rocketships, other worlds and robots, Paul was the first to give form to concepts and ideas that has previously been created in the mind's eye through words in print.
